Where the pilgrimage ends? Where and when? Probably, when no more steps can be made. Because there’s no more land, because it’s Finis Terrae. I know people walking further, making circles. I don’t get it. This last day of walking was very hard for me, although still beautiful. My body started to send some alarming signals after four months of walking, tried to say – it is enough. I reach Fisterra early. Got a bed in albergue. On the street… yep, I met Staszek, whom i met the first time in Almuna. These meetings on Camino – miracles. We bought beer and iceream, and walked to the beach, to watch sunset. Staszek had a good reflex camera, me just my broken cellphone. I just watched. I could sit like that, forever… I’m not exactly sure – why. Then coming back, farewell, albergue. Most pilgrim went outside. I had flight home three days later. I decided to stay in Fisterra.
On 31 day of my Camino I turned from the main route cause in Mücheln I could find a place to sleep at evangelical parish. In Merseburg there was kind of parade. They started to shoot, so for a moment I was wandering if they starting something serious. But it was just a happy celebrations of holiday in the city.
Some pictures from 30 day of my camino on June 13 2015. I’ve walked 29 km to Kleinliebenau. First time I crossed the big german City Leipzig, I had some little adventure there with charming german “frau”. City was nice. It was good to find some civilization :). I spent a night in a tiny alberge, I mean a little house, so little that I was unable to straighten up. Sorry for a little mess on the picture. It happens
A few photos from 29 day of my Camino in 2015. 37 km to Sommerfeld. Below there is a map and a few photos. First time I passed german highway. My german friend Herman was riding a bicycle and he rode the same distance as i walked. But it was because it was the end of his pilgrimage and he planed to go back home from Lipsk. Fortunately I forgot about my illness and except being extremely tired, I became healthy again. Vitamin C rules!
Pictures from June 16 2015, 32km to Börln. 28th day of my Camino. Weather was wonderful. Views were amazing. There we cherries. I’m about 6 feet tall and I had my sticks, so I eat o lot of these fruits. Tasted awesome! In alberge in Börln I met for the first time German pilgrim. His name was Herman and he can’t speak English. I knew only a few words in German. Nevertheless we became friends instantly. I have no idea how it happened. Magic or what ???
26 day of my Camino in 2015: After two days in rainy, cold weather I woke up ill. Dizziness, tonsils like plums, horror. I can’t go to doctor cause I can’t speak German and there was an area where probably there waren’t any doctors. I took a big dose of vitamin C (10 pills) and walked towards Zeithain – 33km.
26 day of my Camino in 2015, 4th in Germany. I’ve walked 33 km from Kamenz to Schönfeld. It was raining the day before and all the night, and in the morning. I spent a night alone in desolate alberge. None to talk to. It became cold. I started to see everything dark in very dark colors, I mean the future. All my energy and bravery were gone somehow.
