24 day of my Camino from Poland to Santiago in 2015. 2nd day in Germany. Slavs lives in this part of Germany for 1000 years. Names of towns, streets are in two languages. Language is similar to Polish. I stayed for a night in wonderful German family. Again, in completely unknown country I met open and good ppl. I started to learn, that maybe we are not so different, maybe we are kind of big family, of course if we want to be 🙂
Below there are pictures from 23 day of my Camino (in 2015). My first day in Germany. It was very hot and I finished extremely exhausted although it was “only” 33 km. Germans were a big surprise to me. These foreign completely unknown for me ppl appeared to be friendly and helpful. I taught them sing a polish song. They helped me find a place to sleep for another day.
This June 5, 2015 – it was emotionally very hard day for me. The LAST DAY in Poland, in my homeland. Everything I knew was just ending that day. So the last day is probably always the most difficult. I’ve never been in Germany in my life, nor in France or Spain. I had a little sum of money, I knew just a few word in German. In front of me there was an unknown big county with unknown ppl and frankly saying I was scared of how it will be. (Below some interesting pictures, even a real soviet era fighter jet in a garden.)
Below there is an album of pictures of 21st day of my Camino still in Poland. Lwówek Śląski – Henryków: 33km.
Below there are pictures from 20 day of my Camino. I’ve walked from Złotoryja to Lwówek Śląski. For the first time I saw marks of St. James Way – Camino.
Today without words.
On 18thday of my camino I’ve walked 33 km from Środa Śląska to Legnica. Vast, empty, totally deserted areas. And again many hours none to talk to. Not even a chance to open my mouth and say anything.
